Mia & Abs Winter Pooling

What's winter pooling? Running across the safety cover bouncing their little hearts out before the snow comes and they can't any longer.

When the snow hits, it gets hard and doesn't move.

We will miss having Mia here but maybe we can talk some of the pups into coming back - playing with the visitors and doing our snow paths that we always make.

I adore the fun that puppies bring to snowy days.

Mia and I hear Tiger Lily will be heading for the second shot tomorrow. Then I hear Tiger Lily will be going to puppy class. Now how cool is that?

By the way, we do daycare these days. If interested, just let us know. We promise a full fun day of fun!

Penny: or Shall We Call her Princess?

Here is Penny looking mighty comfie in her bed.

It's truly nice to see pictures of the pups after they go to their forever homes.

Mia heads to the vets on Tuesday for her 2nd shot and then to her forever home on Thursday.

We have a puppy boarding with us starting on Wednesday - our anniversary so Mia will have a playmate that is new for 1 day.

After Thursday, we will fill you in on stories that the owners tell us about their little ones - Wasabi and Fiona's pups and give you tips on what we did when knee deep or is that neck deep in puppies. Although our Treasure is now over 1 years old - she is still a puppy in heart and soul till at least 2.

Mia has already started getting her place in the pack and it's not at the bottom of the pack in her book.

Ah, puppies sewing their oats.

Puppy Play

Fiona is absolutely enjoying her puppy. She plays with her till she is exhausted and so does Treasure and Abigail. I do believe they all enjoy her though Kat gets a bit grumpy when she insists on getting in his face.

She is learning not everyone likes pouncing in ones face.

Fiona though has tolerance for her in spades.

It doesn't seem she can do anything wring and she protects her completely. If she makes a peep, she comes running.

You can catch them playing like this for hours.

Mia has adapted to sleeping on the bed. That didn't take long - but one night. She plays retrieve quite well already. Gad they are smart!

Mia is Infectious

What do you mean she is infectious?

Well, she makes you laugh. She makes you smile. She makes you want to snuggle and cuddle with her as how could you not?

Mia is comfortable snuggling up to Terra in her donut bed and running outside with the crew.

Last night at bedtime she gravitated between Nathan and I avoiding the growls from dawgs wanting to sleep but her avoidance is - I don't care..and keeps plowing along.

Mia is with us till Thursday. On Tuesday she goes for her 2nd set of shots when Terra goes for her underwater treadmill stuff. Time goes by so fast.

Soon - no puppies...but hoping to have more if the gals would just go into heat. Both Abs and Wasabi are overdue - go figure. hehehe That's okay. We get to spend time with the biggie dawgies in a big way!

Mia Adjusts to No Siblings

When a puppy remains a tad bit of time longer, you get a taste of what life is without the siblings. But its not fair in this house. She has her canine mom and all the pack to play with and they do.

Let's see, she now runs and I mean runs up both sets of stairs that go up to our bed. She has settled in and sleeps the night and snuggles. She lets you know if she needs to go and if placed on a pad, voila. This is at night. During the day she is doing pretty good about hitting the few pads we have in various rooms.

She also plays up a storm with canine mom and all the pack. She kisses Terra and Whitney. She doesn't back down to Treasure and actually knows how to maneuver around the others and read signals. This is good socialization for her.

She crawls into x-pen when she needs to snooze and falls fast asleep and at times she falls asleep in one of the big dog's donuts.

Today we took her to Shopper's Drugs Store. Nathan took her inside and although no one touched her, she got to see a new environment and say hello to people. She was a little nervous about the trip but seemed to be fine. We will do it again before she goes to her forever home.

She did start to get frantic and it was due to her needing to go do her business. We should have had her go before we took the trip but it was a spur of the moment thing.

Mia saw her first hail storm that came and went in a matter of 10 minutes.

Now she has crawled into the x-pen for a long afternoon nap.

For her, life is grand and shouldn't it be for puppies? Gad we will miss having one around.

Mia's First Night Alone

Yesterday Kit Kat went to his new home leaving Mia as the only pup left in the house.

Naturally Fiona was all over her but you could tell that she was missing her litter mates.

Treasure, Abigail and Fiona play with her but it isn’t the same. Darlah and I played with her too.

Then bedtime arrives and our quandary.

The pups had all been sleeping in a large x-pen in an empty bedroom previously occupied by one of our now grown children. In the x-pen was their crate, nicely padded with the door always open in which I’d find all the pups each morning. There was also a pee pad in the opposite corner of the x-pen, a blanket and various toys scattered throughout.

When they were younger we also had food and water in the x-pen at night but we gradually weaned them off that extra meal.

But it didn’t seem to make sense to place Mia in the now empty x-pen without her litter mates. I tried it on for size in case she was comforted by the familiar surroundings but she was having none of it.

So I moved her to our bedroom and Plan B.

I had set up a smaller x-pen, suitable for a single puppy. In it I had placed her crate in one side, a pee pad in the other, a blanket beside the crate and various and sundry toys. This was set up right beside the bed. Within seconds she let us know that this too was totally unacceptable in her mind. She wanted to be on the bed with the guys don’tcha know.

Plan C, on the bed with all of us. Mia thought this was absolutely great! In fact, she was so excited that every few minutes she’d get up and try another position on the bed. There were two things wrong with this; first off, we were afraid she’d fall off the bed so every time she moved Darlah and I both flinched, sat up and watched. The other thing was the rest of the pack trying to sleep. Every time this bouncy smiling very happy little girl went to say “Hi, I’m here” (lick lick), to another dog the usual response was “grrrr, be quiet an go to sleep little one”. This went on and on and back and forth until about 1:30 when I decided enough was enough.

Plan D. I picked up Mia, Fiona quickly ran down the doggy steps to follow, and we retired to another bedroom to sleep the remainder of the night. With her options much reduced Mia was quick to go right to sleep. I was there. Her mother was there. The bed was comfortable. Done. But, she’d wake up every 5 or 10 minutes and try out a new position finally settling on sleeping with her head in my neck. This way she was sure she knew where I was and I could not escape or vanish like her litter mates did. We can’t know what they are really thinking but sometimes we can make an educated guess.

I think Plan D was the best plan for her although Plan E, in which all the rest of the dogs left the room and Darlah and I stayed on the bed with Fiona and Mia would probably be her overall first and best choice. Tonight will be a new adventure.

Nathan

Now Darlah's turn:
Life is always an adjustment when things changed. We heard KitKat slept all night her first night, Tiger Lily not, Penny did and dear old Mia thought it was a play session. Now in reality we needed to tucker her out before bedtime or put her in the x-pen and just deal.

Her new owners will have a much easier time as she will have made that adjustment to the bed when it is their turn.

Last night Mia thought this bed business was wonderful and thought hopping all over the place would be fun but the adult doggies said - it's bedtime. I figure tonight she will 'get' that.

Mia is playing with all the dogs now and they with her in a big way. She goes back into the open x-pen to go take a nap and I do believe she finds comfort in it. She loves the rain and outside. She is pouncing around full of life and is curious as all get out.

When you come into the room she pounces and jumps up all excited. Puppies are fun. Yes, they can be work too at first but gad they are absolute fun and snuggle monsters.

Teething is a biggie so we have been practicing OW!!!! She listens and looks as if to say, can't you play like those dawgies do?

More tomorrow...

KitKat's Going Home

This was my first time on the table. I am going to a home today to see if I can grow up and be a show dog. I don't know what that means but if you need attitude, I have it in spades.

These humans here took me outside for a muddy romp and then they had to put me in this tub and wash me. I thought I was wet enough.

Then instead of blow drying me, she dried me with a towel, brushed me and let me play for 10 minutes or so. Then I got the blow dryers in 2 directions.

I told that human Mommy that I wasn't crazy about this sort of stuff with my voice but she told me in a stern voice that I couldn't do that so I guess I best stop that.

I am like Treasure she tells me testing the water to see what I can get away with.

Here I am with a newly placed pad down. I managed to get the side off and that's no easy thing to do. I then shredded the paper as that is what a Havanese loves to do.

I can't help myself.
Mia will be the last puppy to be here from this crew and she gets to sleep in our bed tonight. We will tell you how that goes.

She has a class act attitude but this crew did - and they will all be missed big time.

Pups leaving is happy they are starting their journey but sad that we do not have them in our lives so visits are welcomed...and we do daycare and boarding... so am hoping even for a visit - we see how they progress.

Blow Drying Woes

I tell you, they give me a bath and blow this bunch of air on me and it's as if it rained and rained.

Then they want me to stand on this table and get rubbed and brushed all over.

Are these humans NUTS?

Well, my name is Penny. I got to see my new forever Mommy and go home with her in the car.

My 2 remaining siblings has no idea why they didn't get baths but they will soon figure it out as KitKat goes home tomorrow. Mia doesn't go home till December 3rd.

That silly Daddy - well I got a new Daddy now but that Nathan guy lets me outside after a bath.

Heck, it's okay as I went out and headed for the mud. It's not him that cleans us. It's that crazy lady Darlah. She puts on that apron and oh boy I know something is up.

Well, I am on a new adventure - Tiger Lily in one place and me in another. It will take us a few days to learn the ropes and get acquainted and comfie but oh boy - life will be exciting.

Then I can come back and visit the house I grew up in and tell the gang all about my new adventure.

Ah... life is always changing...

Taking Shortcuts

Instead of walking around Abigail, Penny decided to take a shortcut.

Penny is going home tomorrow and Kit Kat on Tuesday. Our resident visitor Hannah - the Bichon will be going to KitKat's house and they can learn to be a show dog together.

The puppies had fun playing with Saki today.

We just got a photo of Tiger Lily in the mail and she looks ever so cute.

Here's a puppy idea...and I will try to share one with you daily...try. :-)

Memories: Take a photo the day your bring your Havanese home and weekly, thereafter, for the first year. What a great way to chart growth and create a scrapbook.

Another Tip: One set of rules, please: Make certain all household members agree on the rules for your new Havanese. From the minute your Havanese joins the family, everyone should be using the same command, enforcing the same boundaries and rewarding positive behavior.

Look, isn't that sweet? Some things you may find cute in a pup can be problems in a grown dog. A 10-week old Havanese playing tug with your socks could be cute. But when your Havanese is two years old and eating your shoes…it's not cute; it is destructive. Stop a problem before it becomes a bad habit.

The pups are taking a nap so I think I will catch a movie on the TV and snuggle with a Havanese or two or three.

Fiona and the Crew

Fiona is enjoying the last 3 and seemed to be okay with one going to their forever home. We are glad.

Wasabi tends to mope around and bounces back about a week later. We are hoping Fiona is like Risa who 'gets' that the crew is leaving the nest and there are benefits too when you are an empty nester. We shall see.

We expected Abigail and Wasabi to be in heat already but they are holding out. I figure they will come in at Xmas - just watch and that will mean it will be me and the dawgs for a few days as Wasabi is getting bred to a stunning dog up north and Nathan will be visiting if it happens then as Xmas means boarders here. We shall see.

The pups had a VERY busy day. They are snoozing deep now.

Remember your dogs will go through a couple of fear periods. If they put their tail down or squeak or react in a hesitant manner around new people, gently have various people hold your little one. Give them kisses. Treat them and make people a warm experience.

Some dogs will bark at strange dogs. You must learn to do a proper meet and greet. We can show you.

They will be what they experience. If something goes wrong, don't coddle but move forward and it will soon be a thing of the past.

Tiger Lily Goes Home

Tiger Lily was the first to go home. I think even the siblings felt the change but she went to a lovely family who will treat her like the special shining flower she truly is.

She had a bath today and has about 2 inches at the roots of silver coming in.

She's going to turn the colour of her canine dad with perhaps her own uniqueness and those legs may end up being like Fiona. She's something else and we will miss her.

The next one doesn't go home till Monday then another on Tuesday and then Mia will remain till December 3rd.

Puppies...they add something to your lives that truly make things alright in the world.

Oh they can be work but the laughter ad fun they bring - priceless.

Wet Dreams

I just found this to be priceless!

Tiger Lily is going to her new home tomorrow and she was snoozing away with her foot in the water dish today. These pups do not seem to mind the wet weather and obviously may be swimmers too like their canine dad with their obvious - who cares if the feet are wet reaction.

I just adore these pups and their fun ways. Each has their own personality.

Tiger Lily will get a bath tonight so she can go home fresh and smelling beautiful tomorrow. She will have to have her last romp outside tonight unless I decide to wash her at 6am - and I might.

I have taken so many photos that I have had to buy a hard drive just to have more space - how silly is that? But how could you not want to keep such memories?

Mia came in from a romp outside and found one of her fave positions to snooze in. She's going to be with us the longest and will be sleeping in our bed till her humans come to get her.

You see this toy with all the ropes - well they love to gnaw on it as it's good for teething. The yellow toy is a giggle toy. It makes all sorts of sounds when they move it around. They absolutely think this toy is a riot.

Remember to rotate a few toys at a time to avoid boredom. They also need toys to chew on and even wet, frozen cloths tied in a knot will help them erupting teeth and all the feelings it brings. It's a cheap way to handle the teething pain. Sure there are commercial devices but they better be soft as this crew doesn't like the nubby teethers that are hard.

The pups rather enjoy the outside and we hope you continue to take them outside regularly even in the snow. It gives them new places to explore and new things to see and it's good to take your dawg out for their body and their mind.

Until their next set of shots, no parks but you can carry them around in a dog store and show them off making sure their feet doesn't hit the ground as you never know what dog has parvo early on that would cause harm with a puppy that is not fully inoculated yet. But show them off. Get people to pet your little one.

Visit Jazzy (Eye on Fashion) up the street from us in their clothes shop - cool clothes shopping too.

Expose - don't coddle and they will live up to your expectations. If they show fear at something new (that's quite natural) then say - silly dawg and plow on and make sure they are exposed in small doses. They fear only what they do not know.

Love them but don't coddle any fears. By doing so (saying poor x or snuggling them when showing fear), you will validate a fear vs. helping them to realize there is nothing to fear.

I tell you this as there are a couple of fear periods they go through but instead of keeping them away from exposure - you should be exposing them.

At dog shows, we often are in buildings with echos - lots of noises - so many dogs and many a dog shakes or gets nervous in a variety of ways when first exposed but if you keep doing it ignoring that they are nervous and play with them so they relate this place with something fun, then it will eventually go.

One year, Nathan was away on business and I had to take Kat to obedience class. Off and on we do classes to expose them - to get their recall yet a bit better - to just have fun. Well, I do not know what possessed me but I went out to check the pool heater and it was on fire. I was in total fear trying to figure out how to shut the gas heater off and would I be facing an explosion of sorts. Of course this only lasted a few minutes but it felt like an eternity. Well, Kat was with me. I did shut the heater off. We had to get a new one but I was shaking.

I never said anything to Kat but your Havanese tend to read your emotions. Each time I went into the pool house after that, Kat refused to come in. He certainly was hesitant.

So, how did I handle it? None of the other dogs had been out there so they didn't have that imprint so I would get the other dogs into the pool house and play up a storm with them. Curiosity got the better of him after weeks of this - yes that fear imprint I placed on him was strong and he peeked his head in. I kept it up and soon he was walking in and walking out fast. Then I started treating the others and he was coming in and relaxing. I replaced that fear imprint with something new and enjoyable. That is how you deal with hesitancy or fear.

The lesson to learn is your state of mind affects your dogs. There are times when you can't control your emotion as I couldn't in this given situation. But you can change their reaction by using your head and trading a concern for a positive. It may or may not take time. It depends on how deep the imprint is but you can change it. But why create a negative if you can help yourself. It is better to start off right.

What I did get from this experience was a strong bond based on trust with Kat. If they can truly trust you (trust is built up over time) then you will not only have this amazing relationship but they will be more apt to try new things as they have you to let them know that all is right.

10 Weeks Old Today

How did the time ever go by so fast?

Tomorrow I start filling out all the CKC paperwork for the pups to go to their forever homes. It happens way too fast for me but we will have the last till December 3rd.

The pups now run out the door in a scramble to play outside. It's so fun to watch.

Canine mom is always close by watching the little ones.

It is truly nice to see the mom that she became at birth. She was better than anything I could imagine and continues to be.

The pups have torn her hair to pieces as she tends to play with them all sorts of silly games but the hair will grow back until the next time.

Fiona...human mom and dad are so very proud of you!

Just a Few Glimpses

The pups had a bath today - still not crazy about it but oooh they are kissable clean. They will get baths the day they go to their forever homes.

Stairs Today!

The pups have changed a great deal.

They are really learning how to read other dawgs and get up and down the stairs and all sorts of fun things.

The adore the outside and can't wait till you play with them.

Check out this short video below of them going down the stairs today.

Transitions

The pups start going home on Friday - then another Saturday - another Monday or Tuesday.

How did the time fly? The last one doesn't go home till December 3rd/4th. It happens way too fast.

If you are looking for toys for your little one, keep it to a minimal and change them out daily to avoid boredom. Teething toys are good and so are ones that make noises and move.

Here are a few ideas we had in the past.

The pups are playing outside on an average of 4 times a day with the last one before bedtime. When the weather gets nasty, indoor play and retrieve will be the key.

The pups are quite comfortable with the goldens now jumping up to play with them - climbing over them - it's rather nice. It still means that when you have their last shots, you still have to get them exposed to all sorts of new things and it will count how you handle it. Never coddle. Be positive and I use a keyword to let my dawgs know if nothing should be a concern. I use silly girl or silly boy in a funny cute voice. Find your keyword and help your pup get slow conditioned. They will be what you do with them.

Garden Play

What is the absolute best fun for these pups? Investigating the backyard and all the trouble one gets in. After all - the Havanese are a fun and mischievous dawg and I love it.

Yesterday we had 4 play sessions outside and fell fast asleep. We are sleeping through the night but they are getting play sessions before bedtime. It tends to get them sleeping and dreaming, I imagine all sorts of Havanese adventures.

More later.>>

Big Stick Fun

This little cutie found a huge stick and was running around with it trying to egg the others on.

You can buy all sorts of expensive toys and the ones they love the most are free or nearly so - I swear.

You just have to be careful that they don't find a fascination with rocks or anything they shouldn't be putting in their mouths.

The pups continue to practice their running. Sometimes they bowl over each other trying to get to a certain destination.

All I can say is they truly bring a smile to your face.

One more week till the first one goes home. Way too fast for me.

Stairs and Pups

She's an adorable cutie - they all are each with unique personalities.

One day she is the first down the stairs and the next day she's wondering can I do it.

It's rather normal with this stairs business.

She's one of them that has mastered going up and down the stairs though not elegantly yet.

Give her a week.

They are all taking up the challenge. It's a riot to watch.

Today they had 4 play sessions already so they are extra tired except KitKat who thinks she is an everready battery.

More tomorrow.>>

Big, Little and Smaller Set

Even Shoshi now finds herself playing with the pups.

I remember when Risa had her pups (Kat was born). She looked and acted as if they were martians - the whole litter.

Wow has times changed. She was playing up a storm with the pups and them with her. It was really nice to watch.

The pups can't wait to get outside and play. We can't wait either as it is delightful - inside and out to watch them. As you can see, they are looking through the door that needs to be cleaned waiting to get out.

I just adore their play now and so do the older crew. We are starting to see the mischievous part of their personalities come out. It does your heart good.

Gidget really enjoys the younger set. You will see her playing with them nonstop at times but she is an equal opportunity dog and plays with all. They seem to truly like her too.

Can you believe the pups are 9 weeks old? They do get to that 10 plus week too fast. It seems as if it was just the other day when Fiona wouldn't leave them alone and just thought she did something better than anything else in the world. She had... her little miracle.

Nothing like pups. Crazy fun times was had by all. Steps - up and down clumsily - not so for Mia and Penny but they are all getting there. They all do and timing doesn't mean a thing except a desire to be somewhere and not think about the process. Ah...puppies...

Weights & Video Play

The pups had a roaring grand time outside but we were running around with them and the video was sort of like a roller coaster ride so instead of making you watch that, I took a bit inside and I promise I will get more steady coverage outside tomorrow.

They are amazing runners and are maneuvering the stairs. They are a delightful ball of fun to watch. They turn 9 weeks tomorrow. So soon...

The pups weighed in today at:

Mia = 3lb 80z - up 5.5 oz in 6 days
Tiger Lilly = 3lb 6 oz - up 4.5 oz
KitKat = 3lb 10 oz - up 7.5 oz
Penny - 3lb 9 oz - up 7.5 oz

Night Time Play

It's getting dark way too early for my taste. I feel like we should all be crawling into bed early with this darkness.

The pups don't mind it a bit. They play their little hearts out not even noticing that its dark.

Now the pups get vocal when they want to come play. But they are still sleeping a fair bit of the day and all of the night.

They love the outside though.

We are starting to get names so far from the owners, Kit ( I usually call Kat 'Kit Kat' so I will have to STO THAT! and we have Penny and Mia. Just waiting for 1 name so we can get them used to their new names.

Pups start going home the weekend of the 20th. One goes home December 3rd/4th as Mia's parents are away. Another 24thish. It's all spread out - and that's perfect for Momma Fiona.

Now how we are going to survive puppy-less, I am not sure until Abigail and Wasabi goes into heat and we have 2 months gestation after that...it's going to be xpen less around here.

Will miss this crew big time.

But wait til you see our snow trails in the backyard....it's so fun. You'' have so many fun ideas you'll have to share with us that you do with yours in this white cold stuff. I CAN wait. hehehehe

Secret to Sleep

We get the crew out playing a few times a day and when they run around for 20 minutes or so, they come in and are fast asleep.

This is the perfect weather for it too!

When we got our first Havanese, we used a hallway that was closed on one end and we sat at the other side and threw a toy down the hall teaching her to play retrieve.

It too was the secret to sleeping all night.

The pups are pretty much sleeping all night now but if you allow them to sleep close to bedtime or you don't tucker them out, expect that they may not sleep as well as if you did.

They will also take naps during the day and our last one we allow is around 6pm and then we keep them up.

They have finally adjusted to the time change.

I heard from so many people about their dogs not adjusting from feeding times to sleeping and they are older.

It's strange how this time so many had so long adjusting. I guess it happens.

The pups found our Japanese maple tree and the leaves are falling. They run like banshees and hide underneath it and bring in all the leaves with them. It's a riot.

They pounce and jump on each other and have a roaring good time.

Oh, to be a puppy....

What Excitement

The pups are absolutely tuckered out. They had a fun-filled day and are snoozing. Soon we wil get them back up to tucker them out again before bed.

We had one of the puppie's parents over and 2 people looking at Havanese thinking of getting one and all the visitors - all the pups and all the adult dawgs...way busy times but way fun.

Hope you enjoy a few of the pictures from today.

We heard that the couple that was here is calling theirs Penny but almost called it .....guess what....for a fast version of a car. It rather suits these cuties. More tomorrow...

First Shots

Well the crew went to the vets and all are healthy.

They got their first shot and their microchip.

All but one didn't make a peep when they got their microchip. But now they are playing and are too tender to do so. They are learning they should take a break. I suspect they will be a tad sore till Sunday with each day getting better.

We also took in Fiona and Treasure for a checkup.

We found out that Treasure's microchips is missing. That means at her next visit she will need an x-ray to see if she retained a dead one or it actually fell out. It reminds me that puppy people should ask their vets to check them from time to time.

Now we have to go through more expense and a heck of a lot of paperwork as we had to do this for Wasabi. This is a rare occurrence and look here we got hit with 2. Our luck - not!

We will let you know how the pups are tomorrow...

What a Wild and Crazy Day

The crew truly loves to run amok in the yard, in the kitchen and in their x-pen. They have truly grown and increased their speed and ability to play.

It's hard to believe they are already 8 weeks.

Some of them will be going home in 2 weeks. It's too soon for me. :-)

The crew found our Japanese maple and was playing the pounce and I am going to get you games.

Click on any of the photos to see a larger view at anytime.

They truly like hiding places to create the element of surprise. It's fun to watch.

When we let them out of their x-pen, they go running for the door in hopes to go outside.

They also found the mud under the Japanese maple. Lots of rain, no sun and oooh dirty dawgies but I didn't wash them. I let them air dry and it all fell off of them and this little one looks clean again. Really....

She sure had fun playing in it though and not intentionally. They were running in and out and the mud was flying. Usually it's not wet like this in the backyard.

Well, tomorrow the crew goes to the vet to get vaccinated, a checkup and microchip. We will let you know how the fared on the long drive.

We go to Colborne for our vet visits near the Big Apple.
Treasure will be travelling with us as she has a checkup.

More tomorrow...

Baer Testing

Well, we all had a hearing test today and all of us passed...yeah!

But since we have been home, we have been napping big time. It's stress-filled going to the VEC with all the dawgs and animals and people.

That's okay...we will be back to playing up a storm as soon as dinner time rolls around.

On Friday we go for our shots and checkup.

Friday is turning into a mighty busy day.

Pups at Play

Pups were out having a blast today. They are running up a storm now and even making it down one stair exiting the house. They jump in enthusiasm after they get motivated to join the other dawgs.

As you can see, this one was checking out the lay of the land and then made a made leap. It's not a far distance and we wouldn't allow if it was.

They also found Mommy's hair and she has pieces out of it now. We are stopping THIS behaviour as we want hair intact.
