One asked me - doesn't the mom take care of everything so there is really not much to do?The answer is yes - and no. Someone has to make sure they are on the overfilled nipple - that mom is getting enough food - getting outside to do her duty and getting cleaned up when necessary.
Then you are supposed to weigh the pups daily (we do it twice a day) - changing and sterilizing the whelping area.
Bonus - tonight I get to spend it all with the Wasabi - Woo... Such a lucky gal - pinch me!
