Now that Wasabi is getting obviously larger, she's looking for ways to rest comfortably. Anyone who has been pregnant 'gets' what that means. No matter what you do - as you get larger and larger, the back seems to be the only thing you can use.It's time to get the whelping box up (tomorrow) so she can lay in it, arrange it the way she likes and gain her comfort level. We will take pictures of her reaction.
We put a whelping box upstairs near us and away from the other dogs so she doesn't get stressed with all the others around. Last time she had no issues with Kat watching the pups at night or Risa helping her clean up but this year she has the highly curious Treasure and Fiona so we will play it by ear.
Exciting times coming a few weeks from now. We can't wait!
